Recreational marinas are a particular strength of URS|Cash & Associates.  Our experience includes master planning and marina feasibility studies with special emphasis on development and evaluation of potential options and alternative schemes based on such factors as construction cost, maximized slip count and site specific environmental constraints such as mudflats or wetlands mitigation.  We are experienced in both concrete and wood dock systems and have provided marina layouts for design/build proprietary systems as well as for custom marinas.  Our capabilities include the preparation of full detailed "from scratch" designs and "Performance Specification" format documents for pre-manufactured dock systems.   We also routinely prepare prepare full detailed design documents for dock electrical and water utilities.

We do not represent any particular dock system manufacturer, but rather we take pride in our ability to evaluate our Client's needs and desires, the site specific environmental and geotechnical conditions, and the project budget to develop recommendations for dock systems that best accommodate all project criteria.   We have worked with all major dock system suppliers for the West Coast.  We understand the various product lines and options available as well as dock system strengths and weaknesses.
