Cash & Associates led a multidiscipline consultant team for design and construction of the 107-acre Pier J Maersk Container Terminal. In addition to project management, Cash & Associates was responsible for complete architectural, structural, and civil design.  Major terminal components included a three story Administration Building with elevated bridges and elevated Gate Operations Room, a four story Marine Operations Building, Tire Repair Building, equipment inspection canopies, Driver's Service Building, Longshoremen's Building, security stations, and miscellaneous structures and enclosures.   The Administration Building was designed for maximum energy efficiency and to accommodate multiple activities including customs offices, gate operations, terminal security control center, and sub-lease space.  Work also included coordination of yard layout and design with Port staff, all civil site improvements, and complete construction support services.
