Bulkheads and Seawalls

Grasso-3.JPG (99250 bytes)Cash & Associates bulkhead and seawall project experience includes new design, repair and/or strengthening of existing structures.  Our experience includes:

Tie-Back Bulkheads, Retaining Walls and Seawalls
Earth Anchor
Tie Rods & Deadmen
Pile Bracing Systems
Cantilever & Gravity Walls
Concrete & Steel Sheet Pile Systems
Wave Deflection Walls
Revetments

We have provided engineering services for waterfront projects at various sites along the California coastline ranging from San Diego to Eureka, California.  Many of our bulkhead/seawall projects have involved preparation of comprehensive condition surveys and design of restoration/stabilization construction documents for deteriorated, damaged and/or failed structures (concrete, timber, steel).  Our experience has included damages resulting from seasonal storm activity, the effects of saltwater intrusion on reinforcing steel, deterioration due to invasive marine life ("marine borers"), and the effects of simple "old age".   Our staff is skilled in the development and evaluation of various concrete repair methods and fully understands the need to provide innovative repair techniques that can be used for cost-effective, long term results.  Services also include bid and construction phase support services, as well as development of condition monitoring programs.

Through our recent merger with URS Corporation, Cash & Associates can now provide a full range of consulting services for seawalls, bulkheads and revetments including, but not limited to:  geotechnical and environmental engineering.

Please click on the selections provided on the left for examples of our bulkhead/seawall experience.  If we can be of service or you would like additional information, please contact our office at (714) 895-2072 or via e-mail at Randy_Mason@URSCorp.com.
