Our pier and wharf experience includes the design of new
structures capable of supporting vessel, building, crane, vehicular, and heavy
machinery/equipment loads as well as preparation of special studies for existing
structures to determine existing load capabilities, develop strengthening measures, and/or
replace deteriorated components (i.e, piles, decking, bracing, fenders). In addition
to condition surveys and structural/seismic studies, capabilities include MOTEMS
Inspections.
Through our recent merger with URS Corporation, Cash
& Associates can now provide a full range of consulting services for piers and wharves
including, but not limited to: geotechnical and environmental engineering.
